Welcome aboard the Poway-Midland Railroad!

Our mission is to preserve and operate historic railroad equipment, giving the community a hands-on experience of railroading history.

Our History

The Poway-Midland Railroad began as a passion project to bring vintage railroading to life in Old Poway Park. Over the years, our dedicated volunteers have restored and maintained our historic locomotive, and other engines and cars, offering an authentic step back in time.

Our Equipment & Crew

We proudly operate a variety of historic engines and rolling stock, including our beloved Baldwin #3 Steam Locomotive Engine, plus our Cable Car, and Speeder. Our crew of passionate engineers, conductors, and maintenance staff ensure safe and enjoyable rides for all visitors.

Featured Equipment
